Barbados

Barbados runs two coasts against each other: Silver Sands and Silver Rock on the south, working steady NE-E trades from November into June over mixed flat-and-chop water, and Bathsheba's Soup Bowl on the wild east coast, better known for surfing than kiting but still logging trades most of the year.

The south coast is the developed side, with resorts and a rum-shop social scene built in. It suits kiters after a proper Caribbean holiday first, with world-class wind as a bonus, rather than a bare-bones kite camp.
