Country

British Virgin Islands

The British Virgin Islands come down to one confirmed spot: North Sound on the northeast tip of Virgin Gorda, a protected watersports hub with steady easterly trade winds and clear, shallow lagoon water.

It sits inside extensive boating infrastructure rather than a standalone kite village, and the flat water suits progression and freestyle over wave riding. The season runs December through June. This is a stop for sailors and charter guests passing through the BVI who want a reliable flat-water session, not a kite trip in its own right.

The British Virgin Islands country guide — entry rules, money, driving and local kite rules — is not written yet.

When to go

month by month, from the towns' own wind series

No month-by-month figure for this country

None of its places carries a wind series this page can read, so there is no monthly share to draw.

Which place is yours

the most spots first

Single spots with no town of their own

The cards are in the order of how many spots each place holds. None of them carries a wind score: the atlas scores wind reliability one spot at a time, against a named weather station and the distance to it, and a place that groups several spots has no single station to stand behind one number. The month calendar above is what this page can say about the wind.

The same places as the cards above, by name, in the order this country guide lists them rather than the biggest first.
