Country
Curaçao
One spot carries Curaçao's entire kite scene: Kite Beach, inside the sheltered lagoon of Sint Joris Bay on the island's east side near Willemstad.
The bay blocks open-ocean swell, so riders get shallow flat water and wind chop rather than waves, with a flat upwind zone good for progression. The wind window runs January through August, unusually long and steady for a single-spot island. It suits riders who want dependable flat water without hunting for a second launch, not variety beyond the one bay.
The Curaçao country guide — entry rules, money, driving and local kite rules — is not written yet.
When to go
month by month, from the towns' own wind series
No month-by-month figure for this country
None of its places carries a wind series this page can read, so there is no monthly share to draw.
Which place is yours
the most spots first
Single spots with no town of their own
The cards are in the order of how many spots each place holds. None of them carries a wind score: the atlas scores wind reliability one spot at a time, against a named weather station and the distance to it, and a place that groups several spots has no single station to stand behind one number. The month calendar above is what this page can say about the wind.
The same places as the cards above, by name, in the order this country guide lists them rather than the biggest first.
