Kitesurfing in Dakar
3 spots · 1 destination
Three spots share the Cap-Vert peninsula around Dakar, and none of them are set up for first lessons: Ngor's tight bay demands care around rocks and fishing boats, Yoff runs open Atlantic chop and shorebreak off Plage BCEAO, and Monaco Plage is a paid private beach with thinner documentation.
Trade wind holds a December-to-May window across all three, best treated as intermediate-and-up city sessions.
Dakar holds 3 kitesurf spots in our atlas, grouped into 1 destination. The season runs January to June. The busiest areas are Dakar - Ngor/Yoff.
