Kitesurfing in Phuket Province
3 spots · 1 destination · 7 schools
Phuket runs three seasons across three coasts.
Friendship Beach in Chalong Bay is flat and waist-deep, built for beginner courses that run November to March, while Nai Yang, tucked inside Sirinat National Park by the airport, flips to the southwest monsoon and fills June through September. Rawai's winter wind, November to April, is actually worked from that same Chalong Bay/Friendship stretch rather than the boat-pier beach itself.
Phuket Province holds 3 kitesurf spots in our atlas, grouped into 1 destination. Riding here is mostly flat water. The season runs June to September. Every spot suits beginners. 7 schools operate in the region. The busiest areas are Phuket.
