- Contact Maldivian's ticketing office ahead of your inter-atoll flight to confirm your kite quiver bag will fit and reserve space - high-volume items can be bumped to a separate flight if the aircraft is full
- Note the size-mismatch penalty (USD 80-100): booking as a 'Small' bag when your gear actually falls in the 'Large' thickness band (6-10in) triggers this extra charge, so measure the bag's thickness carefully before booking
