Bahamas
Bahamian kiting runs on two islands and one season: Chat 'N' Chill on Stocking Island in Exuma, a beach-bar spot across the harbour from George Town, and Treasure Cay's three-mile strand on Great Abaco.
Both work NE and E trade winds from November into April or May, over flat-to-choppy, shallow, clear water. Neither has the infrastructure of a dedicated kite resort - Treasure Cay in particular stays a general beach destination first, kite spot second. It suits riders folding a session into an island-hopping Caribbean trip rather than a kite-focused one.
The Bahamas country guide — entry rules, money, driving and local kite rules — is not written yet.
When to go
month by month, from the towns' own wind series
No month-by-month figure for this country
None of its places carries a wind series this page can read, so there is no monthly share to draw.
Which place is yours
the most spots first
Single spots with no town of their own
The cards are in the order of how many spots each place holds. None of them carries a wind score: the atlas scores wind reliability one spot at a time, against a named weather station and the distance to it, and a place that groups several spots has no single station to stand behind one number. The month calendar above is what this page can say about the wind.
The same places as the cards above, by name, in the order this country guide lists them rather than the biggest first.
