Two small clusters carry Norway's six spots, both proper Nordic scenes rather than beach resorts: Orrestranda on the flat Jæren coast south of Stavanger closes to kiting from October to March for wetland protection, while the Vigra/Giske group near Ålesund - Blimsanden, Blindheimsvika, Roaldsanden - covers enough compass directions that riders just move beach to beach with the wind.

Hamresanden by Kristiansand and Lomsesanden on the Lista peninsula round out the sandy-beach side. It's a farmland-and-fjord scene that suits kiters happy to build a trip around Norwegian city life, not a kite-village strip.
