Kitesurfing in Haifa District

2 spots · 1 destination · 4 schools

Haifa splits into two very different rides: Neve Yam on the quiet Carmel coast south of Atlit is natural, uncrowded water for intermediate and advanced riders when northerlies line up, while Bat Galim inside the city is rated advanced-only, with the Church spot's shallow sharp reef ruling out anyone learning.

Bat Galim holds wind nearly year-round, Neve Yam mainly April through October.

Haifa District holds 2 kitesurf spots in our atlas, grouped into 1 destination. Riding here is mostly flat water and chop. Something is rideable here in every month of the year. 4 schools operate in the region. The busiest areas are Atlit / Neve Yam & Haifa / Bat Galim.
