Grado on the northern Adriatic runs as two launches in one lagoon: Sacca dei Moreri, the shallow sandbank favored by schools and named in the town's 2026 bathing ordinance as the official kite zone, and Punta Barbacale at Grado Pineta, a muddier, obstacle-heavy spot for strong riders holding ground in Bora.

The window runs March-June and September-October.
