Kitesurfing in Cantabria

8 spots · 2 destinations · 2 schools

Cantabria pairs open Atlantic wave beaches with sheltered inland water: Valdearenas is rated one of northern Spain's best kitesurf spots on its summer NE thermal, while the Corconte reservoir gives flat, shallow water and dependable afternoon thermals for schools.

Somo's La Poza estuary and Laredo's El Puntal offer calmer alternatives to the current-prone open breaks at El Sardinero and Meron.
