Playa de Somo
Somo is Cantabria's best-known kite and surf beach, forming the sandy northern shore of the Bay of Santander opposite the city. It takes almost every wind direction thanks to its position at the bay mouth, and the sheltered Poza de Somo lagoon nearby gives flatter water for lessons.
