Paje is Zanzibar's kite hub, a broad reef-protected lagoon where tide rewrites the session - glassy and shallow at low water, powered up on the Kusi trades for jumps and reef waves.

Bwejuu, just north, runs the same lagoon and trade wind with a fraction of the crowd. Dongwe, further along, has no permanent kite school at all, used mainly by Paje operators as a satellite wave-surfing stop for self-sufficient riders.
