Dubai's two kite beaches sit at opposite ends of the city and feel nothing alike.
The main Kite Beach on Jumeirah, Burj Al Arab in view, is a busy public sandy beach with chop, best on winter W/NW onshore days, and works better for advanced riders than the beginner classes held there suggest. Jebel Ali Beach, down by Palm Jebel Ali, trades the crowds for flatter water and more space, authorised for kiting as of 2026.
Dubai Emirate holds 2 kitesurf spots in our atlas, grouped into 1 destination. Riding here is mostly chop. The season runs January to March. Every spot suits beginners. 6 schools operate in the region. The busiest areas are Dubai.
