Cross-onshore from the right on the main beaches: E to ESE arriving lateral-onshore at Ponta do Santo Cristo, so a drifting rider is carried along the sand rather than away from it.
Some local descriptions of the same beach call it side to side-offshore from the right, so treat the offshore component as real and stay upwind of the point.
