Gott Bay, Tiree

A large, gently shelving, sandy east-coast bay on the low-lying Hebridean island of Tiree - statistically one of the windiest places in Britain, and Scotland's best-known windsurfing and kitesurfing venue. Tiree has hosted the Tiree Wave Classic (running since 1986, and a stop on the PWA World Tour in 2007) and the island's flat, shallow-gradient bays including Gott are used for freeride, freestyle and flat-water sailing when the wind is on.

Used Weatherspark MERRA-2 reanalysis for Tiree Airport (~3km from Gott Bay, same small island) as fallback -- an unusually good match.
