La Parguera (Lajas)

La Parguera is a fishing village and boating hub on Puerto Rico's southwest coast, within the municipality of Lajas, best known for its bioluminescent Phosphorescent Bay. The same maze of mangrove cays (Cayo Caracoles, Isla Magueyes, Isla Mata la Gata and others) that shelters the bay also flattens out the sea for kiting, giving a protected, trade-wind flat-water spot for intermediate and advanced riders.
