Before you pack

3 points

  1. Keep a board bag under 200 cm and 23 kg / 50 lbs on mainline SAS -- no advance registration is required and it simply counts as your checked bag.
  2. Board bags of 200 cm or longer must be registered in advance; SAS recommends contacting them at least 48 hours before departure to confirm carriage.
  3. Verify whether your itinerary is on SAS's mainline scheduled network or an SAS Charter flight before assuming which fee schedule (standard-bag vs the named Surfboard/Kiteboard Charter fee) applies.
