Fiji's western cluster spans six spots of very different character: the sheltered lagoon and sandbank at Malolo Inner Reef, boat-supported Namotu with its Cloudbreak-adjacent wave access, and Nananu-i-Ra off Rakiraki where accelerated trades funnel through the Bligh Waters passage.
Mana Island and Qalito (Castaway) have no beginner support listed despite forgiving-looking lagoons, while exposed Sigatoka suits intermediate and advanced riders only. Trade winds run roughly April through November across the group.
