Kitesurfing in Flacq
3 spots · 1 destination · 6 schools
Flacq's east coast strings together three reef-lagoon spots on the same April-to-November trade wind — Trou d'Eau Douce toward Ile aux Cerfs, Palmar with its C Mauritius kite school, and Poste Lafayette's narrower exit channel.
All three run flat-to-choppy lagoon water inside the reef, with Palmar the clearest beginner pick and the outer reef edges saved for riders who can already self-rescue.
Flacq holds 3 kitesurf spots in our atlas, grouped into 1 destination. The season runs April to November. Every spot suits beginners. 6 schools operate in the region. The busiest areas are North Coast (near Cap Malheureux).
