Djerba's kite scene runs on two lagoons on opposite sides of the island.
Souk el Guebli sits south near Aghir and the El Kantara causeway, a large shallow flat lagoon where Kite Aventure bases its club. Smile Beach, on the north side at Sidi Smaël, is Globalkite's home water, a 32-square-kilometer lagoon taught on since 2003 and rideable from spring through into winter on stable, moderate wind.
