Wind on the beach
- Cross-shore to onshore across the usable band, which runs from NW through W and round to S and SE on the village bay beach.
- Westerly is the strongest and steadiest direction on this coast, but on the bay side it comes off the land: the first few hundred metres out are gusty and thin, and the schools ride further out or take the boat.
- The offshore Mewia Rewa is worked on N, NE and NW.

- Shallow, changeable sandbars
- Kuźnicka Mewia Rewa is not a casual land-access launch; the schools reach it by motorboat or RIB and the support comes with the boat.
- Shallow sandbars and Rybitwia/Mewia shallows change depth quickly and can be too shallow for fins/foil in places.
- Summer beach users and the guarded bathing zone: in 2026 the Kuźnica Szkoła bathing area covers 100 m of shoreline from beach entrance 34, 1 July to 30 August.
- Cyanobacteria: the water at Kuźnica Szkoła was declared unfit for bathing at times in July and August 2025 after blooms.
