Wind on the beach
- W is side-onshore and lets you run down toward Alt Reddevitz, with noticeably bigger chop once you leave the shallow strip.
- NW is the cleanest angle, arriving over open water with nothing in the way and giving parallel-to-shore riding in standing depth.
- NE comes in steady from the Middelhagen side.
- E is offshore: sheltered and patchy in the first metres off the beach and more consistent the further out you go, which is the wrong way round for a launch this small.
