  • The sand runs southwest to northeast and looks northwest across to Biyangdo.
  • Northwest arrives close to straight onshore; north and north-northwest come in cross-onshore along the beach, and that northerly band is what the west coast is ridden in.
  • South and south-southeast, which supply most of the summer wind days here, blow off the land and out toward the island.
