- In S or SW parts of the south-shore launch sit in the lee of the land or at an offshore angle, even though both directions are ridden; ask the club which launch to use before going out without rescue.
- Bathing-water quality swings: the official class for Laulasmaa rand was 'Halb' (poor) for 2024 and 2025, while the 2026 samples on 03 June, 01 July, 15 July and 05 August were very good.
- No lifeguard or rescue post on the beach: the parish has no official public beaches, so the only cover is the club and the school during their hours.
