- Two large stones sit in the bay and are reportedly buoy-marked; hard-to-see stones and damaged fins and boards are also reported
- Very shallow areas and sandbanks, especially after persistent west winds push water out of the lagoon.
- West wind in the bay can be gusty, and northeast wind is partly shadowed by the Burgtiefe high-rise buildings
