Fisherman's Huts (Sarah-Quita Beach)

Fisherman's Huts, officially Hadikurari Beach and renamed for Aruban world-champion kiter/windsurfer Sarah-Quita Offringa, is Aruba's principal learn-to-kite beach on the calmer NW coast. It has crystal-clear, waist-deep water and hosts the annual Hi-Winds Pro-Am windsurfing/kitesurfing championship every June, reflecting the island's constant NE trade winds.

Monthly wind statistics

Station: Oranjestad (modeled); Windfinder 'Fishermen's Hut' station exists on-site but has no stats (Weather Spark (NASA MERRA-2 reanalysis climatology, not a single ground station), ~4 km) — Windfinder has a station named 'Fishermen's Hut' essentially on-site (~4 km, Windfinder itself lists it at 9.9 km from the Queen Beatrix airport reference point), but its windstatistics page explicitly says 'No statistical weather data available' (confirmed literal site text on fetch) - only live current conditions shown. Used instead: Weather Spark's MERRA-2 reanalysis for Oranjestad, ~4 km away, which for this NW-facing, more sheltered/shallow lagoon-style spot is a closer macro match than for Boca Grandi. Direction is essentially always E (steady trades). Matches the known Dec-Aug best season reasonably well (speeds dip Sep-Nov). No Beaufort probability or water temp by month available.
