Isla Blanca
Isla Blanca is a narrow sand spit just north of Cancún's hotel zone, with the calm, shallow Laguna Chacmuchuk on one side and the open Caribbean Sea on the other. The lagoon side gives flat, standing-depth water that is ideal for learning and freestyle, while the ocean side offers small wind-driven wave riding. Facing straight into the prevailing trade winds, it's one of the most consistent and popular kite spots in the Cancún region.
