Ras Al Hadd Lagoon

Ras Al Hadd sits on a point at the entrance to the Gulf of Oman, at the easternmost tip of the Arabian Peninsula, and is best known internationally for the UNESCO-recognised Ras Al Jinz green-turtle nesting grounds nearby. A lagoon at this mainland spot appears on regional kite listings; given the protected-species significance of the immediate coastline, riders should be mindful of turtle nesting closures and sensitivities even though this specific lagoon is not itself the reserve beach.
