Kitesurfing in Busan

2 spots · 2 destinations · 1 schools

South Korea's kiting splits between Busan and Jeju.

Busan's Dadaepo, at the Nakdonggang river mouth, is the established beginner base, broad and shallow, running September to May, while Jeju's Sinyang and Hamdeok fill in as condition-dependent lesson beaches on the east coast. Jinha, near Ulsan, is better known for windsurfing competitions than kite schools, and Jungmun on Jeju's south coast is flagged as a weak kite choice best left to surfers.
