4 spots · 2 destinations · 5 schools

Jeju's kite beaches are shallow, sandy and interchangeable by design — Hyeopjae, Sinyang and Hamdeok all run beginner-to-intermediate depending on which way the wind and tide fall that day, best from March to May and September to November.

Sinyang stays flattest at around a metre deep, while Jungmun on the south coast is a cliff-backed surf beach and the weakest of the four for kiting.
