Wind on the beach

The riding area is on the Laguna Madre side, so the shore faces west.
The dominant warm-season SSE and S flow is cross-offshore to offshore relative to that bank, which the shallow water forgives but beginners should not ignore.
Frontal N and NE wind pushes onto the bay shore instead.
