Al Hamra Beach
Al Hamra Beach is a wide, sandy stretch of Ras Al Khaimah's Arabian Gulf coastline, roughly an hour north of Dubai. Being further up the Gulf than Dubai, it's reported to catch the northwesterly shamal wind earlier and stronger, making it a favourite of RAK-based riders looking for a less crowded scene than the Dubai beaches.

Monthly wind statistics
Station: Ras Al Khaimah International Airport (Windfinder, ~19.1 km) — CAUTION: a windfinder station literally named 'Al Hamra' exists but resolves to Al Hamra Village near Ghantoot/Abu Dhabi (~24.07N 52.46E), a different place entirely from Al Hamra Beach in Ras Al Khaimah (25.65N 55.75E) -- not used here. Nearest genuine station to the RAK beach is Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, ~19.1 km away, inland. Windfinder's current site design no longer publishes the monthly wind-probability(>=4Bft)/avg-knots table as text -- it is only rendered as an unlabeled bar chart (confirmed on Tarifa, Talat Yai and other well-known spots too, so this is a site-wide change, not a data gap for this station). Recorded here instead: annual avg wind speed/direction, monthly dominant wind direction, and monthly avg daytime air temperature, all pulled from the station's windstatistics page via a text-rendering proxy after windfinder.com rate-limited direct fetches for a time.
