Amager Strandpark

Amager Strandpark is Copenhagen's flagship urban beach park, built on reclaimed land with a sheltered lagoon behind it. It is one of the most accessible flat-water kite spots in Denmark thanks to the metro/bus links into central Copenhagen, and hosts a resident windsurf/kitesurf club, though it is a busy multi-use public beach.
