It is sandy, shallow and essentially wave-free, and forms part of a small cluster of Vigra/Giske beaches (with Roaldsanden and Blindheimsvika) that between them cover most wind directions.

Wind

season notesNo spot-specific data confirmed. The neighboring Vigra beach Roaldsanden works best in frontal NNE/NE/ENE wind, and the island cluster is set up so different beaches catch different directions.

notesShallow, flat, wave-free water makes this the most forgiving of the Vigra beaches - good for beginners and freeriders; not a wave spot.
