also known as El Argoub, Heliophora, PK 28, Rider Camp Heliophora

El Argoub is the village end of the Dakhla lagoon's mainland shore, at PK 28 on the Route d'El Argoub, about 13 km down the lagoon from Turtle Bay and roughly 6 km across the water from Dakhla town.
Heliophora is the operation on it: an eco-lodge with a kite, wingfoil, windsurf, wakeboard and e-foil centre that sells the place as a flat spot with wind on about 300 days a year and boat safety as a listed service. Past that, the water here is undescribed.
Nobody publishes the depth, the tide behaviour, the standing area or the launch detail for this stretch, and the numbers that do exist for the Dakhla lagoon were measured at other parts of it. Treat this as a located operator, not yet as a spot description.

The wind

Direction

Nothing measured at PK 28. The lodge advertises wind on about 300 days a year, which is the standard Dakhla claim rather than a figure for this stretch of shore.

Strength

No knot figure is published for this spot.

modelled

A weather model's cell over this place, not a station on it. Good for comparing places, weaker for one beach.

Modelled from the operational forecast archive at 1.5–7 km (2023-2024), daylight hours only, not a ground station: it resolves thermal, lake and valley winds far better than coarse reanalysis but still tends to understate a strong local thermal. A windy day has at least three consecutive daylight hours at 12 knots or more. The typical daily max and the direction are columns of the table above, month by month. Highlighted months are the riding season from the spot record.

High-resolution weather model (modelled) · Open-Meteo historical forecast archive — best-match operational model (ICON-D2 / AROME / ICON-EU / GFS by region), not a ground station · 2023-2024

The water

Advertised as a flat spot on the Dakhla lagoon. No depth, tide, current or bottom description is published for the PK 28 stretch, and the figures in the Turtle Bay record were gathered 13 km away.

Your level

beginner: not ratedintermediate: not ratedadvanced: not rated
The centre teaches beginners through to advanced and its instructors are IKO/VDWS certified, but it publishes no level requirement, no zoning and no depth, so the level booleans are left unset rather than guessed.

Nobody has flagged a hazard for this spot in what we have read. That is a gap in the record, not a safe beach.
