Beachwalker Park is the only public beach access on Kiawah Island, which makes it the only realistic kite launch on the west end. The beach is long and wide and stays comparatively empty; walking a short way south puts you clear of the peak-season crowd.
Wind works from ENE round through WSW along the main stretch, and from almost any direction near the southern tip where the shoreline wraps toward Captain Sam's Inlet.
That inlet is the thing to respect: the town closes it to wading and swimming, rip currents are common along this beach, and the tidal flow through the Kiawah River is a hazard rather than scenery.
The lot holds 150 cars and fills by mid-morning in summer, and outside the park the island is private community, so arriving late leaves you with no second option. Seasonal lifeguards cover the designated swimming area only, and no kite rescue exists here. No Beachwalker-specific wind average or kite-size range has been published.

A weather model's cell over this place, not a station on it. Good for comparing places, weaker for one beach.

Modelled from weather reanalysis on a 10–25 km grid (2022-2024), not a ground station: reliable for trade and synoptic winds, understates thermal sea breezes and valley winds. The typical daily max and the direction are columns of the table above, month by month. Highlighted months are the riding season from the spot record.
