Lobitos
One of the best-known wave spots on Peru's north coast, roughly 90 minutes south of Máncora — a long, fast left-hander over a sand-and-rock point, regarded by regulars as among the world's best kiteable waves when it turns on. It is wave-only, current-prone and not a place to learn in surf; the point break shares water with a large surfing crowd.
