Ponta Mamoli

Ponta Mamoli is a small, undeveloped beach settlement north of Ponta Malongane on the far south Mozambique coast, home to the Odyssea Dive & Kite operation. It offers a wide, gently sloping sandy beach that is more sheltered and beginner-friendly than the exposed points closer to Ponta do Ouro, set against the same dune-forest coastline used for whale and dolphin watching.

Monthly wind statistics

Station: Maputo (Weather Spark, ~93.9 km) — Same situation as Ponta Malongane, ~4 km further along the coast: no local windstatistics table found on Windfinder or Weather Spark; Maputo (~94 km NW) used as a distant regional proxy only, with the same caveat that it likely understates the dry-season (Apr-Sep) SE trade winds this stretch of coast is known for locally. No dominant wind direction or Beaufort-probability data found.
