Saly

Saly is West Africa's largest beach resort hub, on the Petite-Côte about 26km south of Dakar, with roughly 17 hotels and 33 residences and a golden, coconut-palm-lined coast whose sea is described as habitually calm, protected within a bay. That protected, generally gentle water combined with constant trade winds is what makes Saly one of the most commonly cited places in Senegal to learn to kitesurf, alongside its established tourism infrastructure.
