Uvero Alto
Uvero Alto is the wave-riding option among Punta Cana's kite beaches: a close-in reef pushes up the biggest swell of the area's spots, but the whole Punta Cana coast sits in the wind shadow of Puerto Rico, so it is not a top-tier wind destination. The most reliable window is November-December, when winter systems push trade winds to around 20 knots; outside that the beach is quiet and largely undeveloped.
