Viganj
Southern Dalmatia's best-known kite and windsurf village, set in a wide, open bay on the western tip of the Pelješac peninsula where the Pelješac Channel opens to the sea. It is a significant Croatian location for both kitesurfing and windsurfing, has periodically hosted international windsurfing World Cup events dating back to 1989, and holds the long-running Viganj Open regatta. Several dedicated schools operate along the bay, including Water Donkey Windsurfing and Kitesurfing Centre, FootLoose SurfClub and Liberan Surf & Camp.
