Lagoa da Conceição in Florianópolis is the main school base on flat-to-choppy salt water, Lagoa de Ibiraquera near Imbituba is rated one of the best learning lagoons in southern Brazil, and Riozinho do Campeche is the region's genuine wave spot, working on S/SE wind against an exposed Atlantic beach. Season runs September through April across the group.
