Kitesurfing in Attica

5 spots · 1 destination · 4 schools

Attica's kite spots are Athens day-trips built around gusty Meltemi and shallow bays: Anavyssos and Vravrona Bay both sit in shallow, sandy Saronic-side bays with dedicated lesson space, while Nissakia Loutsa near the airport has run a windsurf/kite club since 1989 despite reef and entry hazards that keep it off the true-beginner list.

Schinias adds a rare southerly-winter alternative inside a national park pine forest, and Aliki Oropos runs on a reliable afternoon thermal instead of the Meltemi.

Attica holds 5 kitesurf spots in our atlas, grouped into 1 destination. The season runs March to October. 4 of them suits beginners. 4 schools operate in the region. The busiest areas are Vravrona Bay & Nissakia Loutsa.
