La Torche (Pointe de la Torche, Penmarc'h)

La Torche is a rocky granite point at the southeastern end of the Baie d'Audierne in the Pays Bigouden, one of the most famous wind-sport arenas in Brittany. It draws surfers, bodyboarders, kitesurfers, windsurfers, wave-skiers and land-yachters in numbers, and has hosted numerous national and international championships on its long, west-facing sandy beach.
