Pag / Šimuni

A sandy, shallow bay on the Pag peninsula's west coast, well known locally as one of the windiest spots on the Croatian coast - a Croatian saying holds that the Bura "is born in Trieste, dies in Šibenik, and blows strongest precisely in Šimuni." The sheltered bay shape and gentle shelving bottom make it comparatively safe for freeriders and beginners despite the raw wind strength.
