NE through SE is the workable arc and carries the Bora and Jugo sessions; the summer Maestral from the NW reaches this launch over the land and blows offshore and gusty.

Standing depth
Shallow around the small peninsula itself, with wading entries at the two pebble beaches on either side of the isthmus. Depth changes quickly once you leave the peninsula, which is part of what makes the area good for foiling and bad as a learner lagoon. There is no large standing-depth beginner area.

Tide independent for kiting; local Adriatic tidal range is small, with Premantura tide sources showing roughly 0.3-0.8 m ranges depending on neaps/springs.

Currents
Current along the Kamenjak coastline is strong, strongest between Cape Krsine and the island of Fenoliga, and the park asks water users to stay within 100 m of the shore for that reason and because boats come in close in summer. Inside the teaching bay by the campsite there are reportedly no dangerous currents. How exposed you are depends on which bay you use and how far out you ride.

Launch
The main launch is the small peninsula by Camping/Arena Stupice, with grass rigging and pebble/rock entries on either side depending on wind direction. The football field/grass and the peninsula serve as practical rigging areas, but the northern bay is used by the windsurf school and bathers, and summer boat/aquapark traffic reduces usable space.

- do not pick or destroy protected species,
- do not anchor in Posidonia meadows,
- keep dogs on a leash,
- light fires only in the public fire pits,
- keep speedboats and jet skis at least 300 m off the shore,
- stay 50 m clear of red-and-white diver buoys,
- do not go more than 100 m from the coast,
- and leave the protected area by 22:00.

Rider tips
- Bring booties: the entries are pebbles, stones and rock, and urchins are a standing complaint.
- Check the wind angle at the peninsula before you rig; the northern and southern entries work in different directions.
- Do not trust a light Pula forecast in summer. The cape has its own microclimate and a 0-2 kt Pula reading can be 5-6 kt here.
- Stay out of the northern bay while the windsurf school and the bathers are working, and clear the southern bay early in summer, when boats and the inflatable aquapark take it.
- There is no kite school and no kite rescue on the spot, so fix a self-rescue and downwind plan before you head toward Trumbuja and the islets, especially in Bora or Jugo.
- Come in by bike or on foot if you can: 2026 park rules charge only motor vehicles, buying online takes 10 percent off, the park empties at 22:00, and the ranger service is +385 98 255 8257.

Drive to Premantura, then on to Arena/Camping Stupice at the entrance to Kamenjak. The cape is reachable by car, bike or boat. Pula and the Medulin Riviera are on the bus network, and from Pula it is a suburban bus or a taxi out to Premantura.
