Two islands carry this entry: Lefkada's Agios Ioannis, ridden as Milos Beach by the windmills, and Corfu's Chalikounas, where a sandbar splits the Ionian Sea from Lake Korission.
Both run on the same summer engine, a Maistros thermal that builds through the afternoon into steady northwest wind, side-shore at Chalikounas and cross-on to onshore at Milos.
