Baleal / Peniche

A rocky Atlantic peninsula famous worldwide for its surf (including Supertubos, 'the European Pipeline'), Peniche and neighboring Baleal also draw kiters with a near year-round Nortada. Sandy-bottomed beach breaks give a forgiving, wave-riding spot for intermediate and advanced kiters who can move between bays to chase the best wind angle.
