Costa Calma
A beach resort town in the Pájara municipality at the start of the Jandía peninsula, right next to the northern end of the Sotavento lagoon system. Its name ("calm coast") comes from being sheltered from the prevailing westerlies, and it offers the same shallow, beginner-friendly flat-water lagoon conditions as Sotavento proper, just with a more built-up town base.
